Badachro Distillery has been awarded one of only five ‘Community Spirit’ awards, by the UK Spirits Alliance, for their sanitiser production and distribution initiative during lockdown earlier this year. Gordon & Vanessa are delighted that Iain Blackford MP visited the distillery to present the award on September 14th.
Gordon commented; ‘The initial idea was just to provide sanitiser to help protect vulnerable members of our local community, but within weeks we were supply community groups across Scotland and care homes UK wide.’
It is always nice to recognised for your efforts and this was a timely boost to spirits at the distillery.
