Bottled from our Tuscan Oak casks, this uncut and richly flavoured cask strength version of our Bad na h-Achlaise single malt whisky is 57.5% abv – 59% abv. With only twenty to thirty bottles of this cask strength single malt produced from each Bad na h-Achlaise release, it is an extremely rare delight for the senses.
The bold, characterful flavour of this uncut single malt Scotch is accredited to the two very carefully selected casks in which it was vatted, producing a richly flavoured, peated dram that has been finished in Tuscan red wine casks prior to bottling. Blending the flavours of peated and unpeated spirit, our Bad na h-Achlaise Cask Strength is a celebration of the rugged north west Highlands.

This characterful, full bodied, full strength whisky teases the senses with the aroma of smoke infused with lemongrass and fresh hay, before giving way to ripe peach and candied apricot. On the palate this malt Scotch bursts with the flavour of red berries sprinkled with peat, before coming to rest on warmed oats and cream, blended with fresh fruits and hints of oak.
This bold, richly flavoured Scottish malt makes for the perfect dram, whether you like it neat or with a drop of water.
