Following an extraordinarily fast sell-out of our first release, this is now the second release from the Bad na h-Achlaise collection and it is as as it is as delicious as the first.
It is the result of having vatted two very carefully selected casks from a Highland distillery, to produce this lightly peated dram which has been finished in Tuscan red wine casks prior to bottling. It has developed a wonderfully deep character and slight blush in colour. It’s very North West Highland, in conversation with an old Tuscan friend.
This premium single malt Scotch whisky beautifully marries the wonder of peated and unpeated spirit, to produce a characterful and finely balanced expression of the rugged and yet romantic north west Highlands. 46% ABV

A really delicious dram. A nice blend of peated and unpeated that keeps things interesting. It’s also got a really nice oily mouthfeel and a long finish.
The only thing keeping it from 5* is more info would be appreciated – how old is it (I suspect three years – which is fine!) etc

This is up there with my favourite Single Malt, Visited in September while on Holiday, Had to give it a try, Very deep Peaty warm flavour that takes me back to being by the sea in the highlands. This was well complemented with the Lark fire wild water which we got at the same time. We got some Sea side Gin for a present which I tried and loved, the present went down very well at Christmas thank you. Defiantly plan to visit again in the future. True credit to the Highlands.
