Bad na h-Achlaise Ruby Port Cask Finish

Possibly our best dram yet! A beautifully balanced single malt Scotch whisky which skilfully blends the purity of an unpeated Highland whisky with the complexity and sweetness of fruity, first fill ruby port casks.

Nose: A delicious preserve of cooked ripened fig with warmed brown sugar, followed by a conserve of stewed berries.

Pallet: Up front a rich yet mellow hit of matured fruit and nutty characteristics leading to a subtle hint of liquorice whilst a sweet spice blend coats the roof.

Finish: Some citrus at first, then tart red fruits followed by an incredibly long sweet, nutty, oily, oaky finish that just keeps going.

Overall: utterly delicious!
