It’s been an exciting couple of weeks for us here at Badachro with our new website launching last week, our store reopening on Monday and now, to top it all off, our Dancing Puffin Vodka has won the Gold Small Producer Award at the Scottish Retail Food & Drink Awards 2021 in the Other Spirits Category!
Our Dancing Puffin Vodka is the first craft vodka we have produced and was unveiled at the end of 2020, distilled with the purest water from the Scottish Highlands, and filtered five times before we add some Badachro magic.
There are so many incredible businesses within Scotland’s food and drink industry, and the Awards are a great opportunity to shine a light on the unique local businesses creating such high-quality products for Scotland’s consumers. We are honoured that our family-owned Distillery has been recognised, inspired by the natural beauty of Scotland.
Dancing Puffin is all about enjoying life and we can certainly say that we are enjoying the journey it is taking us on, and we are excited for the future!

Shocking Service. Ordered a bottle for my partners birthday as he was at his parents in Devon. Totally screwed up the order via Amazon then said they had none I stock would I like to reorder when they have in stock! Totally unprofessional. Disgusted& let down. As I sent another message in annoyance I have worked as a Nurse As a Professional for 43 years if I let down my patients as this company have let me down how many patients would I have damaged or even worse. We’ve just read your review / comment and are also shocked! If you bought (or tried to buy) our vodka on Amazon then it will have been from a 3rd party, as we don’t yet sell on amazon. None the less, I’m very disappointed to hear that whoever was purporting to sell our products let you down as described. If you can tell me which company it was you dealt with then we’ll look into it and send you a wee thank you for your efforts. We’re small family business and really cannot be doing with trade suppliers of our goods letting down our hard won customers.
Again, I’m so sorry that you have had this experience and as you say, it’s a disgrace.
